About Kim

I'm a Hickory native and have loved raising my children here. At a young age I knew I wanted to be a real estate agent. I received my Real Estate license in 1995 while working as an Office Manager at a real estate firm. In 1998, I joined Team Metro as their Broker-In-Charge and became an owner in 2005 when Team Metro purchased a Weichert, Realtors franchise and became Weichert, Realtors - Team Metro. As a member of the Catawba Valley Association of Realtors, I received the Committee Chairperson of the Year Award in 2004 and in 2009, I received the Realtor of the Year Award. I served as a Director from 2005-2009, 2011-2012 and 2020-2022, serving as President in 2008 and 2011. I have earned the GRI, ABR & SFR Realtor designations and I'm a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing with a CLHMS designation.

As Broker-In-Charge, I love training, coaching and mentoring our agents and helping them to be the best versions of themselves. Our clients are important to us and making sure that our agents are well trained in every aspect of real estate is very important to me. We want our agents to be successful, but even more importantly, we want to make sure our clients have the best experience possible when selling or buying a home.

I am the mother of 2 amazing children and GiGi to 2 beautiful grandchildren. If I'm not with my family or working, I love to walk, hike, kayak, travel and visit wineries.
